As 16 slots is the recommended slot number for a server then I would definitely get 16 slots if you want guaranteed performance as that seems to be the most optimized size server for this game at the moment. We do realize the server instances at this point are not able to sell above 24 slots due to the servers not being optimized for that size yet. We are very confident in our E3-1230 3.8GHz OC'd processors. If you look at this post you can also see that a 20 slot running on our systems maintains an average of 30.00 ticks with spikes of 28.00 ticks every now and then. Even with the recent optimizations a 29 slot server holding at 30tick just isn't going to happen - so in your eyes what tick is acceptable? And what chip do you consider appropriate for a 24 slot server with a 20% cushion exactly?ДЄt minimum your server would be running on a Overclocked 3.8GHz processor and you would be getting 100% of the physical core. If I were to rent an 16 slot today - exactly what spec would I be getting?
